This interactive professional learning session will focus on strengthening reading instruction for Multilingual Learners by connecting language development, structured literacy, and evidence-based instructional practices.
- Participants will explore how home language, orthography, vocabulary development, and explicit comprehension instruction impact reading outcomes.
- Participants will learn how to maintain instructional rigor while intentionally scaffolding lessons to increase comprehension,
engagement, and student confidence-without adopting a new program.
This course is the 7th of 8 in The Learning Disabilities module. Attend individually or complete all eight for a module certificate.
