Confirmations & Cancellations

Blue Sea will send confirmation of registration within three (3) business days of receipt in our office. To ensure delivery of our email, please add train@blueseaeducation.com to your email address book. If you have not received an email confirmation, please contact us by Email at train@blueseaeducation.com, by Telephone at 631-368-BLUE (2583), or by Fax at 621-368-5357.

Cancellations received ten (10) or more days before the event are refundable less a twenty –dollar ($20) processing fee per registrant. There are no refunds for cancellations received later. However, you will be issued a credit toward a future event. Refunds will be received in the same manner payment was made. Please allow up to four (4) weeks to process refunds. No refunds are given for courses delivered via on-line instruction.

To cancel your registration via telephone contact Blue Sea at 631-368-BLUE (2583). If you call when our offices are closed, or when our phone lines are busy, you may leave a voice-message which is automatically date and time-stamped; please be sure to include your name, the title and date of the seminar for which you are canceling your registration, and, if you wish, a telephone number and/or email address to which we can acknowledge receipt of your cancellation. To cancel your registration via email, send your name, contact information, and title and date of the event via email to train@blueseaeducation.com.

If you register and do not attend, you are still liable for full payment. Substitutions may be made at any time. A continuing education event may be tax deductible; contact your accountant to determine tax deductibility status.


Blue Sea Guarantee

We encourage all participants or purchasers of our events and products to provide feedback to Blue Sea, either positive and negative as the case may be. If you aren’t satisfied with an event or training for any reason, please contact us within ten (10) days of program attendance or product receipt. We will address each communication received on an individual basis, and make every attempt to resolve any issue presented within a reasonable period of time not to exceed ten (10) business days from the date of receipt. The Blue Sea Continuing Education Administrator is charged with responsibility for addressing and mediating complaints received, and will be the final arbiter. Options may include, but are not limited to providing credit for another event or product, or a partial or full refund of the fee or purchase price. We will make every effort to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction.


Payment

Full payment must be made at time of registration, by cash, check, PayPal or VISA. Please make checks payable to “Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc.”. Returned checks will result in a $50 service charge.


Disclaimer

Any opinions, findings, recommendations or conclusions expressed by the author(s) or speaker(s) do not necessarily represent the views of Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc.. Blue Sea Educational Consulting reserves the right to substitute a qualified instructor due to unforeseen circumstances.


Continuing Education Credit & Certificates

Blue Sea Education is an approved continuing education provider by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. ® (BACB). Credit hours are offered for a full day’s attendance; in the event of late arrival, early departure, and/or missed time in attendance, amended certificates indicating the actual number of credit hours earned will be provided to attendees.


Reservation of Rights

We cannot guarantee all events will be available when you register. Blue Sea Educational Consulting reserves the right to cancel a seminar due to insufficient enrollment, conflicts or unforeseen events. If Blue Sea cancels a seminar, registrants will be given a full refund of the registration fee. Blue Sea is not responsible for non-refundable plane fares, hotel and/or care deposits, or any other expenses, whether direct or indirect, incurred by registrants.

Records Retention & Release

Participants’ records, other than publicly available information, are private and shall not be disclosed except as appropriate to the following: a) the participant; b) Blue Sea staff with a legitimate interest in the information; c) persons specifically authorized by the Participant in writing to receive the information. All participants have the right to review their educational records, and may contact Blue Sea to receive a transcript. Participant records remain on file with Blue Sea for seven (7) years.

How long we retain your data
